Eisenhower App Reviews

Good app

This is my go to app for tasks. Love it. Would like if app label on springboard was not in all caps but that is a minor gripe.

8 tasks Not enough

Like the app, a lot of potential. The apps tells us that we should only manage one list for personal and business items. The program however limits the maximum number of tasks per square to 8 which is inadequate given the number of tasks one typically has between personal and work matters which limits the programs usefulness. This is especially limiting in the "schedule a task" box. Unlocking the task limit would greatly improve this tool.

Very helpful

Needed something to keep on track at work. This did the trick!

Love it - needs better integration

Love the idea. There are issues with iCal integration when using across multiple devices like iPhone and iPad which I hope they fix.

It Simply Works

Clean, simple and effective. The app is technically sound and the methodology works well.

I LIKE IKE

Simple, and a-ffective (causes change). Ties closely to Covey. The 8 task limit forces you to actually DO some tasks instead of just capturing them. Use something else for ubiquitous capture (text file, Evernote, paper, index cards), then just load up IKE with todays tasks. Organize your day by priority and importance, manage your tasks using the timer, calendar, and email links, and remind yourself of those pesky procrastination behaviors. Wonderful.

Best To-Do List App Ive Ever Used!

Over the past couple years of having my iPhone, Ive looked for a to-do list app that would cause me to happily stop using the iPhones standard notes app for writing down my personal and business tasks. And now, I finally have.

Love it

Helps cut through the crap in my mind and keep me focused on highest leverage activities... in moments of overwhelming anxiety its comforting to be able to just think okay whats in quadrant one

Well executed

Integrates the key features to help focus- moving the task into right quadrant, and right action for each type of task. Elegantly done with panache.

Great app

Like another review said, its the first app to make me even consider switching from the stock Notes app.

Simple 2 use, would like 2 log whats done

Quadrants work great with a delightful, simple interface. I like being able to drag tasks from one quadrant to another. Task Entry is as simple as typing, However, compared to my HomeRoutines app, Id love to be able to paste a list of tasks from an email or other list. Sometimes I have trouble swiping to mark a task as done, but I can always tap the clock and then tap the check mark. It removes the completed tasks when the page is refreshed. Trouble is, once a task is done I have no way to know at the end of the day what Ive accomplished. I would love a time stamped log that I can filter by date and export or email.

Pretty good!

Very useful Need more lines per quadrant or 2 matrixes: business and personal

Rip Off!!

This app is a disgrace to the name of General Eisenhower. Buy it at your own disappointment.

A Whole New Way to Think About Tasks

Prioritizing is a valuable resource, and is also often left out of the process when using to-dos. This app forces you to get things done. To better understand this concept, look up information about Inbox Zero. Thoroughly think about what tasks are important to address immediately, what tasks to delegate or schedule for later, and what tasks to ignore that are distracting. Give it a try and try to work with the limitations. *For App Devs: Mac App please

Brilliant

Best app Ive ever downloaded...be like Dwight all day!

Simple and useful.

Nicely polished. Backed up to an account. The Eisenhower method works well.

Quick and easy!

More useful than other apps if for no other reason than its simplicity. Well worth it!

Love it - easy peasy!

Best way so far to organize my day. Not a big to do list but a way to focus your day.

Simplicity helps me get through tasks

This app has been helpful so far, maybe it will turn out better or worse, but it does help my brain organize. One con: after setting the 30min clock, it seems that either you leave the clock going and making sounds, a distraction, or go out of the app and lock the phone. I have yet to know at the time end that the 30mins was up. It should let you know the time is up with a email and a notification and a clearly audible sound.

You guys are helping change the world

Great job team. You are enabling others to achieve their goals! A very noble gift. Very elegant design of UI. My recommendation is to make the email template available to be preset differently
